Apple Watch ban coverage
As my Business Insider fellowship came to a close in December, news started coming in that two models of the Apple Watch would be temporarily pulled from shelves. This was amid a patent battle against a smaller health tech company, Masimo. As a result, I got to venture out and get the latest information on how my local Apple Store was handling the ban, and subsequent unban since the ruling was appealed day later.

"Climate change contributing to worsening drought"This was a story I did with Arizona Capitol Times about the Arizona drought. I was very proud of this story as I was able to talk to people from different political affilitations and get their perspective on the issue. As a result, I was able to produce a nuanced, well rounded piece.

"AZ may receive $76.5M for EV charging access"This was one of the first stories I wrote during my internship at Arizona Capitol Times. I went into this story knowing very little about electric vehicles. However, I was proud of my ability to learn and adapt. This story marks the beginning of my reporting journey on Arizona infrastructure and sustainability.

Yes, Kathy Hoffman lobbied to hire hundreds of counselors at Arizona schools
This story was my first fact check I did with Politifact. I really enjoyed my experience doing this fact check. It taught me how to be more detailed and do more in depth reporting on a topic. I fact checked Arizona Superintendent Kathy Hoffman on a Twitter post where she said she helped lower the student to school counselor ratio in Arizona. This statement ended up being factual.
